We have learnt through experience that the success of any project is as a direct result of the project management team. By utilising job control systems and management information, projects are managed with regular meetings fully involving the Client. Site supervision and integration of works combine to ensure project delivery within defined criteria to a high standard.
The following list details a standard management structure which would be appointed to each project during the various phases of the works. Project Director The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the project and will be reporting at board level within Planned Action. They will oversee all aspects of the project from the initial design stages through to completion, handover and final account. He will be visiting the site typically once/twice a week, or as deemed necessary. Project Manager The Project Manager will be our key man for each project, and will be resident on site/visiting as required. He will have overall responsibility for all site installation and will have the site manager, reporting directly to him. He will attend all necessary meetings and set up & monitor progress of our works. As Project Manager, he will control all on site activities, Health & Safety, programme and financial matters. Site Manager This member of our team is solely tasked with controlling the on-site activities. He will ensure the works are carried out to the correct tolerances, the quality of the work is maintained and all works are in accordance with programme. The Site Manager will liaise with all necessary sub and trade contractors and be the point of contact for all the on-site operatives. In addition the Site Manager is tasked with ensuring our health & safety requirements are being carried out at the workface, and reporting as necessary to the Project Manager. Furniture / Finishes Manager Our Furniture / Finishes Manager will assist the Project Manager during the latter stages of the project. He provides expertise in the delivery of finishes and furniture installations, ensuring a snag free handover at Project Completion. Commercial Manager The Commercial Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager where necessary to ensure that all commercial related matters are kept up to date. |
